WILLWOOD HITCH, installed with customer's trailer ball.

The Porsche 911, '74-'89, uses either a Platform Hitch, or a (behind the license plate) Hidden Receiver/ Ball Mount (w/ special stainless steel, push-button securing pin).  See pricing notes. 

For '95 - '04 cars — the Porsche 911/993, 911/996, and Boxster/986 —  the Hitch uses Receivers and  a removable, adjustable Ball Mount.  A Platform Hitch, and a Hidden Receiver are also available.  Recommended maximum loaded trailer wt. 750 lbs./ 60lbs. tongue wt.

For '05 and later models —  the Porsche 911/997, Boxster/987, and Cayman/987 —  a Platform Hitch is mounted behind the license plate, extending out from below.  These both require Heavy Duty Bumper Brackets.  A Hidden Receiver (behind the license plate) is also available.  A recommended maximum trailer wt. 750 lbs./ 60 lbs. tongue wt.

These easily accommodate the small utility trailers the racers have been using to haul wheels and tools.  A trailer could be useful in many ways: customers have towed sailboards, sailboats, kayaks, jet skis, motorcycles, camping gear, garden and building materials, and antique furniture.
